BuildBase TX ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service. We are committed to collecting only the minimum data necessary to provide account-based access to public construction intelligence.

• Account Information: Email address and password (stored encrypted via Supabase Authentication) when you create an account or log in.
• Usage Data: Basic analytics such as pages viewed and features used, solely to improve the Service.
• Public Data: We display publicly available construction and development records from government sources including TDLR, TDHCA, HUD, and public financing agencies. This data is not “personal data” about you.

We do NOT collect, store, or have access to: payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, physical addresses, phone numbers, or any other sensitive personal information beyond what is required for login.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your account and provide access to the Service
• Process and manage your subscription (via third-party payment processor)
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, or Service updates
• Improve and maintain the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Supabase (our authentication and database provider) — necessary to operate accounts and store minimal login data.
• Payment Processor (e.g., Stripe or similar) — to handle subscriptions. We never see or store your full card details.
• Legal Requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication (via Supabase) and basic functionality. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies for marketing purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent login.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information only as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest via Supabase, to protect your login information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us immediately.

10. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
